Family in town

We had visitors in town 2 weekends ago and things have been so crazy I am just getting to blogging....it is a busy spring for this clan!!!

I think that Connor looses part of his manly identity when he is away from his dad...drinking from princess cups, riding pink trikes... a man works with what he has available I guess;) He is confident enough as a little man to rock the pink!

Storming the Capital!

This past weekend we headed to Washington D.C. for some family fun... and for Leo to talk with people on Capital Hill about ophtho and smoke cigars in suits. We had fun taking in the sights and catching up with old friends (a huge thanks again to the Rodgers for their generous hospitality!)

Leo and I are highly entertained by small things... like the largest elevator that we have ever been in! ...or was it the bottle of wine at dinner that made it so entertaining....oh well... it was HuGe!!!

I think that Adrian might be picking up some of my bad habits... aka my guilty pleasure that I only allow myself to indulge in at the airport... gossip mags!

Family BBQ in the park

The Denver Seibold's gathered tonight for an impromptu BBQ in the park. The weather was screaming for you to bust out a bag of charcoal and a few brewskies;)

And just because I could not pick which was the cuter picture... you get them both. Watching Adrian smile with Leo makes my heart melt. I love my men!

I am all of a sudden having flashbacks to the childhood toys that my sisters and I use to play on the have since been banished to playground heaven... Where oh where did all of the Officer Big Macs go?!?! Silly child safety regulations....

.... and I just showed Leo the blog and I had to tell him about Officer Big Mac because he does not remember the awesome-ness of the McDonalds playground. After my initial total shock to this I realized that I guess this is what I get for robbing the cradle and being married to someone still in their 20s.

Margo and Laura visited

We have had visitors for the past few days and the cousins got in some good face time. Margo loved looking at another little person! Laura thought it was funny how bright eyed our little man is.... he is just trying to take it all in I tell ya. She even tried to battle him in a staring contest and, once again, Adrian came out victorious!

More Easter Fun!

Yesterday Leo, my mom and I were sitting around the house relaxing after skiing when Leo asked where I had put Adrian's Easter basket... to which I replied, ever so patiently (as it is a strong virtue of mine), "are you freakin' kidding me?!? He is 4 and 1/2 months old... I don't think that he really cares about getting candy from the big bunny" Then after a bit of ever so loving family discussion I grabbed my keys and was on my way to the store to buy the final pickings of Easter baskets, candy treats, and an egg coloring kit "for Adrian". It was fun coloring eggs and, after all is said and done, I am very lucky to be married to a man so young at heart.

Happy Easter Weekend!

Here is our little man's Easter photo that I forgot to pick up until today.... oops:) Or should I say that I asked my mom to pick up for me while we were playing parental hooky skiing today is more like it.
