Fall Colors Camping Weekend

Last weekend we took advantage of the aspens changing color and some beautiful fall weather to introduce Ksenia (a co-resident with Leo from Russia) to camping, hiking and just general outdoor Colorado adventure:)

Nothing says camping like wearing your footed pajamas by the river in the morning!

Belated biking outing

A few weekends ago we hopped on the bikes and rode over to confluence park downtown for a bit of R&R.... well... not necessarily rest but it was relaxing:)

Confluence park... the highlight (besides the water itself that is) was watching a rather large man get into a rather small pink innertube... the innertube won that battle;-)

Now.... the crawl approach in slow motion....

First Rockies Game

We took the little man to his 1st Rockies game tonight. He had a great time watching all the action, eating Rockie Dogs, staying up past his bedtime and just generally being a ham:-)

Why did mom dress me in yucky Phillies colors?!?!.... Silly mom!
We had to accessorize with a Rockies hat to the urging of the fans sitting around us. At least dad comes prepared!
We almost made it to the 7th inning stretch but bedtime was calling.... maybe next time:)
