Nanny's log

Our little man is starting to show his independence already... He had a full day showing all that he could do with his Aunt Missy today on my first day back in the work force. Missy said that I must have been underestimating him;)

Here are his daily activities per Missy's "Nanny log"

9:30- Exercise

10:00- Current events update (checking in on Obama online)

11:00- Architectural inspiration... re-construct the White House

11:15- Recreational reading

3:15- Minor home repair

Here is the proof....

Adrian finally decided to roll over when the cameras were rolling!! I think that it was his little present for me on my last weekday of maternity leave.... Here is our little stud in action:)

Adrian is not a pedaling man...

...He likes to lay back and ride while dad does all the work;)

Adrian was just begging us to go out biking today in his bike trailer that he got for Christmas. I guess that after his extra long nap he was ready to burn a few calories.



Although we did not make it to the stockshow today Adrian was still in stockshow attire sporting overalls and a plaid shirt.... Leo thinks he looks like Grandpa S;)

...and you can tell from the look on his face how much he just loves the Bumbo right now.

2 month stats

The other day was the dreaded 2 month well baby check-up at the pediatricians office... Adrian took the shots like a champ:) Well... he did turn a nice shade of violet afterwards that reminded me of Willy Wonka ("Violet...you are turning violet!!)... but no juicing room was needed for our little man! After a few seconds of holding his breath the screaming ensued and now we are a fully vaccinated household. Bring it on Rotavirus and Polio!!

2 Month Stats:

Head circumference- 40.5 cm (60th percentile)

Weight- 12 pounds 9.5 ounces (70th percentile)

Length- 23.5 inches (70th percentile)

We also have a few visitors in town as my maternity leaving is drawing to an end:( Margo and Laura are here for a few days getting in some quality face time with the little man. Margo is fascinated with Adrian. She just wants to get close and look.... and sometimes give him a nice pat... or at least that is her intention but baby intentions and what actually happens are not necessarily the same thing. Because of this sweet little Margo has earned the nickname "the hammer" for her "pats" on Adrian;)

Adrian is moving on up to his 3-6 month wardrobe and I am having tons of fun dressing up my handsome man....yesterday was denim overalls and today is his butt flap outfit that I think is too funny:) I could not resist the urge to snap a few shots of his little booty!

Adrian was just so happy that he did not wet himself while I was taking pictures to show off those cute cheeks...big score!

Showing off with a little tummy time push-up...and for those that are wondering....no.... he has yet to grace us with his rolling over skills since last weeks double roll over extravaganza. Maybe eventually he will give his dad a show;)

Winter Break

We have been in Oklahoma for the holidays and kept very busy spending time with all of the family and showing off our little man... who I can proudly say rolled over today twice for the first time today... that is right... he is a 7 and 1/2 week rollin' over stud;)
