Birthday Boy

Yesterday was my better halves B-day (he is not quite up to the big 3-0...but he will eventually join me on the dark side of the 3rd decade). However, in the midst of cooking dinner and finishing his cake I forgot to double check that we had candles for the cake. We did not. However, this actually turned out great because, thanks to Leo's love of fireworks, we discovered that sparklers used as candles work great and put on a little show. And yes, we always have a supply of fireworks somewhere in the house...Leo is obsessed;) Plus I think that the combination of cake and fireworks was a perfect combination to celebrate Leo's b-day in style....
