We are going to the mile high city tomorrow so we decided to head over the the Festival of the Arts after work today so that we would not miss any of the Oklahoma City action. We started off with a plate of yummy fried pickles (a personal fav of mine) before moving on to a show that consisted of a duo of Canadian yo-yo'ers and jugglers. We then somehow managed to pull ourselves away from that exhilarating show and headed back to, of course, grab more to eat when the inevitable happened at the Festival of the Arts....rain! But never fear...we continued in mile high fashion to focus on our food and ignore the rain, lightning and wind that surrounded us...no running to the car for us! We even managed to find my dad's exhibit of sculptures that are on show there before calling it a very wet night.

Ahh... the fire pit. It will have a very happy home on Elmhurst for a few years. I even have some landscaping just waiting to make the leap to kindling!
