...well, Leo got to relax until he got called into the hospital Saturday afternoon to fill in for another doc and had to pull an all night shift on his birthday:( Not the way we planned on having him celebrate but he is such a trooper! He got some great skiing in though before he left along with a friendly family ladder golf competition. Both he and Jake were really getting the hang of skiing! You could see the determination and brotherly competition in their eyes. Jake would manage to pretty much fall on his skis two times and regain control on a turn before the third hit would finally take him down. I called it the Jake butt bounce effect.... it did not look comfortable. But by the end of the first day they were doing great and even braving a little bit of wake jumping by the end. I however only remembered the camera for the first day (I was planning on before and after footage) so here is video of their first attempts in the water.

Cliff Jumping. The first jumper is my dad (he is the big splash right at the beginning), then Jake, then the two of us with the scream of terror coming from Leo....just kidding!

They really were 2 sets of spectacular jumps from the cliff! ALso, the 2 skiers did great with the waves..they really had FUN!! Mom
