Stadium Stampede 5k

This weekend is proof of Leo's power of persuasion for talking me into doing something... the Stadium Stampede 5k. Although it was not my best time it was fun running with the kids through Invesco Field at the end of the race and seeing us on the Bronco's jumbo-tron.... it almost made pushing the double stroller worth it;) Plus getting hot dogs, beer and ice cream at the end did not hurt matters:) We are pretty sure that Lorelei swept the 6 week old division of the race!

Last night we attended the graduation dinner for Leo. I cannot believe that my doc is one step closer to being done with training... fellowship here he comes:) All of the family was very proud of his accomplishments! Here we are at the dinner that was at a restaurant by Coor's Field.

And what better way to continue the week of celebration than with the baptism of Lorelei!

Tonight my parents and I made paella for Leo's birthday dinner with all of our family that was in town.... that is right.... this week we had graduation, baptism and Leo's 30th birthday. Leo just likes to pack large milestones together in one week;)

Suited up!

Adrian, Lorelei and I headed out to the pool this morning to meet up with some friends and splash around a bit. Here is our little bathing beauty before we left.... Adrian was also suited up and looking pretty darn cute but when taking 2 to the pool I opted to take photos of the less mobile child;) Hope everyone is staying cool!

Memorial day weekend fun...

We headed out on our 1st hike with Lorelei along this past weekend. She slept the whole way while the rest of us enjoyed a nice morning hike outside:)

Adrian wants to touch almost every tree on a hike (which can get just a tad time consuming).... he sees a tree that he likes and he just starts saying "bark" repeatedly and increasingly enthusiasticly until he gets to touch the rough stuff with his toddler paw.

Adrian is very sweet most of the time with his sister. Here she was napping and he just laid down beside her to watch her sleep...or to more likely plot his next attack;)

My "Cool Dad"!

My dad was selected to be featured in an Oklahoma City magazine as a "cool dad" thanks to my sisters submission. We have always known that our dad was a great father but it is nice having others see how great he is as a role model and parent of 3 girls! ... and Papa to 7 grandkids;)

Mimi and Papa visit to meet Lorelei

My mom came into town last week to help out with the transition of being a family of 4 and my dad drove up in the middle of the week to join the party. They were both a ton of help and we enjoyed the company to boot:)

Brother/Sister comparison

Although Lorelei does not have her newborn photos until next week I thought that I would give it a try after church today. I actually surprised myself with a few decent shots (the editing is still a work in progress to remove her jaundice "tan") and how much she looks like Adrian. See below for the comparison....and yes.... Lorelei is the one with the pink background... not Adrian;)
